A Tad More Luberon

I managed to upload some more photos shot on my phone when we have been out and about in Paris, as the 4G data service I get when roaming town is much faster than the hotel wifi.  A few more shots that I would have included in the earlier post..

Nearby the prior picture, there are a series of benches...a nice place to sit and look out!

The inside of the main church in Gordes. The big crack in the upper center (between the pairing and the blue) is from a 1909 earthquake (or at least that's what my rusty French read)

We always like the interesting old doors we find roaming around the narrow cobbled streets

This is Van Gogh, a one eared dachshund that we met in Gordes (the owner was hanging out with Van Gogh and 2 other dogs)

A panorama looking out when driving over to Roussillon, not far from Gordes. The town is famous for its history of ochre mining (note the earth's coloring)

Roussillon seemed to have lots of doors in blue; Kelly liked this very faded one on a church

We’ve now been in Paris for a few days, and have some others pictures queued up to include in posts as well. It’s actually been raining most of the time that we’ve been in Paris, so I have been leaving my big camera in the room (no sense walking around with a rain-cover-sealed backpack all day), relying on the phone camera mostly.
